CrowdRx Medical Operations Coordinator - New York Road Runners and TCS NYC Marathon Medical Program FULL-TIME Opportunity Located in New York, New York CrowdRx has been selected by The New York Road Runners as the primary provider of medical services for their roughly 60 running events across greater New York City. This portfolio of events includes the TCS New York City Marathon, The NYC Half, the Brooklyn Half, the Queens 10K, the Bronx 10M, and the Staten Island Half Marathon. As a member of the CrowdRx team, the Operations Coordinator serves under the direction of the program medical director and operations manager to coordinate the planning for and delivery of on-site medical services for all NYRR events. The Operations Coordinator is the first point of contact for staff and race leaders and medical volunteers who support the medical mission. Candidates interested in this position can expect to function as a leader in three main areas: event preparedness, program administration, and race day operations. CrowdRx is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented team player who can grow to lead the robust medical program for the New York Road Runners . Responsibilities: <ul><li> Serve as an internal project manager for major races by coordinating efforts of the Medical Director, internal operations teams, Operations Manager, and allied agencies. </li><li> Create, update and implement emergency action plans, medical action plans and emergency operations guides, and procedures a required by contract, local legislation and/or company policy. </li><li> Oversee staff of full-time specialists and part-time support staff in pursuit of project objectives. </li><li> Coordinate with the New York Road Runners team to plan for and execute world class medical care at NYRR events. </li><li> Attend and participate in planning sessions, review meetings and briefings with stakeholders, City resources and customer agents. </li><li> Work with other internal departments heads to ensure that all Field Team Leaders, Support Services, Field Personnel, vehicles, and equipment operate in an efficient and effective manner. </li><li> Coordinate with the Medical Director to ensure operational alignment with clinical goals and benchmarks. </li><li> Educate on, comply with, and enforce company policies and procedures. </li><li> Maintain knowledge of all company policies and regulations ensuring consistency in interpretation and implementation of such when dealing with employees and the general public. </li><li> Maintain knowledge of current EMS Protocols and Regulations as prescribed by the State of New York and The Regional Emergency Medical Services Council of New York City. </li><li> Maintain an "open door" policy to encourage crewmembers to discuss any issues, concerns, and make suggestions for improvement. </li><li> Resolve issues/inquiries from field personnel regarding work assignments, vehicles, equipment, etc. </li><li> Act as a liaison between field personnel, Operations Manager, internal department heads and our ground ambulance partners. </li><li> Responsible for compliance with and enforcement of company/department policies and procedures. </li><li> Mentor employees, coduct performance evalutions and investigations, counsel, and provide disciplinary actions to assigned personnel, and work to facilitate etc. </li><li> Identify and attend relevant external and internal training events to increase technical knowledge. </li><li> Establish key performace indicators to ensure efficiency and proper staffing levels. </li><li> Collaborate with the Scheduling Team to complete day to day scheduling and to resolve scheduling conflicts. </li><li> Assist Payroll and Billing teams to ensure submission and accuracy of staff timesheets. </li><li> Participate with new employee onboarding, orientation, and uniform distribution. </li><li> Coordinate with the field training officers and clinical managers to identify clinical opportunities for improvement and provide follow-up if necessary. </li><li> Investigate and resolve incoming customer service inquiries pertaining to field employee performance and patient care. </li><li> Monitor state and training compliance. </li><li> Submit Special Event Permits and Post Event Data to state on behalf of NYRR. </li><li> Supervise resource management to ensure proper tracking, purchasing, and maintenance of non-durable, durable and infrastructure equipment and supplies. </li></ul> Day of Event Responsbilities: <ul><li> Service as any or all of the below at all NYRR events: <ul><li> On-site or remote medical unit leader </li><li> Emergency operations center and tactical operations center representative to coordinate resources </li><li> Operations Section Chief at major and moderate sized events </li><li> Administrative/Planning Section Chief and/or Branch Director at major events </li></ul></li><li> Interface with each race's Incident Commander and other department heads. </li><li> Oversee the Race Team Leads and Communications Team to ensure appropriate documentation and timely response to emergencies and calls for service. </li><li> Define and implement operational period objectives for Medical Unit. </li><li> Conduct a pre-shift briefing to prepare staff for each event and review event procedures and safety protocols. </li><li> Encourage teamwork between field crews as part of an integrated operation. </li><li> Lead post event debriefs with field and supervisory staff to identify areas for improvement. </li><li> Debrief with the customer after high acuity or high visibility calls. </li><li> Pre-plan and coordinate with local agencies in the event of a Mass Casualty Incident or patient surge. </li><li> Oversee communication staff operating in RCCs. </li></ul> Qualifications: <ul><li> High School Diploma or equivalent required. </li><li> Associate or bachelor's degree preferred. </li><li> Current and valid New York State EMT or Paramedic certification OR Registered Nurse (RN) license requried. </li><li> State-approved CPR certification required. </li><li> Current & Valid Driver's License required. </li><li> 2 to 3 years field experience as EMS Provider required with prior EMS supervisory or leadership experience preferred. </li><li> ICS 100, 200, 700 and 800 certifications required at time of application, 300, 400 required within two months of appointment through a company sponsored training program. </li><li> Proficiency in Microsoft suite with a solid working knowledge in Excel. </li><li> Working knowledge of Smartsheet platform or similar software. </li><li> Demonstrated competency of ICS structure and emergency operations. </li><li> Ability to establish and maintain posiive working relationships with leadership, field staff, and customer. </li><li> Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from management, customers,
