- Responsibilities entail effective instruction of students, teaching classes in accordance with course objectives and published schedules, advising student on academic matters and maintaining and active interest in the advances/current thinking in their subject area.
- Ph. D. or equivalent terminal degree, or 3 years professional experience in a variety of fields including, but not limited to: Women's Studies, Feminist Studies, LGBTQ Studies, Gender Studies, Queer Studies, Ethnic Studies, Black Studies, Indigenous Studies, Chicanx/Latinx Studies, SWANA Studies, Asian American Studies, as well as traditional disciplines that engage the above fields.
- Preferred requirements also include strong demonstrated accomplishments in areas contributing to equity, diversity, and inclusion, and a desire to play a role in advancing UC San Diego's commitment to achieving excellence and diversity.
