- MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor’s degree in Arts Administration, Cultural Management, Public Administration or related field and eleven (11) years of professional experience in arts/and or cultural administration, including management of museums, cultural facilities, performing arts, public arts, art in private development, or community art engagement with nine (9) of the eleven (11) years in a supervisory capacity.
- The City Charter requires that City Employees must establish residence within Shelby County within six (6) months from date of Employment.

- Coordinates Memphis’ cultural sector and signature events to streamline communication and activate collaboration within and across government divisions and the collective creative environments, including funders and partners.
- Develops and implements strategic plans to promote arts and culture within the city and in collaboration with external organizations that aligned with the mayor’s vision and City goals.
