- After two years of successful service as a Correctional Food Supervisor 1, the incumbent will be promoted to the position of Correctional Food Service Supervisor 2, with a salary increase to $59,110 and bi-weekly $2,264.76 (not including any future cost of living adjustments.)
- For current state employees, salary calculations are not necessarily comparable from one of the three branches of state government (i.e. Executive, Legislative, Judicial) to the other.
- The Behavior Management Program training will education on the use of physical force as it applies to self-defense, and the maintenance of order and security within the inmate population.
- Supervises inmates and assists in preparation, retherming and serving of food in a correctional facility or district;
- Two (2) years of experience in the preparation and serving of complete daily meals in a large scale (500 meals per day) institutional or commercial setting such as a hospital, residential school, extended care facility, rest home, full service restaurant, military mess, large catering business or other similar environment.
