- Coordinates and manages a licensed mental health facility operating on a 24/7 basis providing clients in psychiatric/behavioral crisis highly intensive mental health services and temporary residential care and/or referral involving psychiatric, neuropsychiatric, psychological, behavioral and other functional assessments; stabilization management; medication management; intensive care and case management services and training of and support to families, other caregivers and service providers.
- Oversees the operation of the Crisis Stabilization Program to include recruitment and development of staff, shift scheduling, supervision and evaluation; program record-keeping and reporting; clients and staff records maintenance; program policy and procedures; program health and safety and program rules.
- Provides clinical oversight for QMHP-type and LMHP-type staff conducting intake assessment, individual evaluation and safety planning, and individual/family therapy.
- Reviews and responds to client referrals made to the program in collaboration with program Assistant Coordinator and Intake Specialist.
- Provides supervision to the program on an after-hours on-call basis in rotation with the Assistant Crisis Stabilization Coordinator.
