- The Controls Engineer is responsible for the design, development, and implementation of automated control systems, as well as identifying and implementing automation and control improvements.
- Reporting to the Controls and Automation Manager, the Controls Engineer is also responsible for driving Automation, Controls, and Electrical standards throughout the organization, as well as supporting the Maintenance Department in troubleshooting electrical and control issues as they arise.
- Experience with Controls and Automation hardware (Allen Bradley, IDEC, IFM, etc.)
- Intermediate to Advanced knowledge of PLC/HMI software (Rockwell Automation RS Logix 500, Studio 5000, FactoryTalk View ME, Ignition, Automation Organizer)
- Good understanding of complex Process Systems architecture & design, Instrumentation, Device Selection, Networking, PLC & I/O architectures, data sheets, and SCADA.
