- Inspect traffic systems and infrastructure, including traffic signals, street signs, pavement striping and markings, and street lights.
- Have knowledge of materials, methods, principles and practices used in public works construction inducing traffic control and pavement striping, and basic principles, methods and techniques of traffic engineering related to infrastructure improvement and maintenance.
- The ideal candidate will have experience in field inspection for traffic control, channelization, pavement striping, street lighting systems, and traffic signals.
- Reviews plans and specifications of assigned construction projects, including streets, storm drains, curbs, gutters and sidewalks, street and alley pavement and grading, and water and wastewater distribution, collection, and treatment systems installation and repair projects.
- Equivalent to completion of an Associate of Science degree in civil engineering, drafting, surveying, mathematics, or related field.
