Your Opportunity + Impact LDG is currently seeking qualified Transportation Inspectors (TCI) and Transportation Construction Inspection Supervisors (TCIS) for our ongoing Highway and bridge projects located in various locations through the South Western Pennsylvania. This work includes Penndot, PA Turnpike, and municipality projects. Key Responsibilities <ul><li>Inspects, observes, and documents construction activities for Transportation and /or Civil projects.</li><li>Uses various computer software programs to document observations and creates inspection reports.</li><li>Continuously monitors work of team to ensure timely completion of project.</li><li>Interacts with clients, contractors, sub-contractors, government agency representatives, and other parties on a regular basis.</li><li>Communicates information, responds to inquiries, and helps resolve field issues to ensure successful completion of projects.</li><li>Responsible for obtaining and maintaining required certifications. </li><li>Utilizes technical references appropriately for the inspection of structural, concrete, earthwork, building, and mechanical components. </li></ul>Education And Experience <ul><li>Education: GED or high school diploma required. Degree in Civil Engineering preferred.</li><li>Experience: minimum of two years of PennDOT, Pennsylvania Turnpike, or related transportation construction experience</li><li>Licensure/Certification: NECEPT bituminous and concrete, ACI, NICET Level 2 or higher in Highway Construction, CDS NextGen, KAHUA </li></ul>Preferred Qualifications <ul><li>Experience with PennDOT, PA Turnpike, or related organizations preferred.</li><li>Previous Construction Inspection experience preferred. </li><li>Experience working with CDS NeXtGen and Kahua preferred.
