- Akerman LLP, a top 100 U.S. law firm serving clients across the Americas, is seeking a motivated and dynamic individual for the role of Conflicts Analyst in the Conflicts Department.
- The Conflicts Analyst works closely with attorneys and team members of the Conflicts Department to identify possible ethical and business-related conflicts of interest.
- Research corporate affiliations of clients and parties using Bureau Van Dijk's Orbis and/or Hoover's/D&B as well as cross reference information using the internet, Secretary of State websites, and other research tools.
- Perform routine conflicts of interest searches by identifying and validating party information; determining appropriate search criteria (Boolean operators); running searches and analyzing results for data to be included or excluded based on the policies and procedures of the General Counsel's Office.
- Be available for urgent and confidential matters and situations, including evenings and weekends (on a rotating schedule).
