- Repair and maintain compressor pumps, vacuum pumps and motors Must be able to set up rigging equipment and safely remove and reinstall motors, compressors, and associated components.
- knowledge in the service, diagnosis, and startup of both rotary and centrifugal air compressors, including dryers, cooling towers, and filtration systems Works from drawings, sketches, wiring diagrams, machine operation and maintenance manuals, work order requests, and oral instructions to install, adjust, repair, and perform assigned maintenance duties.
- Position, fit and weld components to assemble structural forms, machinery frames, plant equipment, attachments or accessories, and building parts according to blueprints or knowledge of structural and metal characteristics.
- Cuts, bends, and threads conduit, pipe, and tubing.
