- Completion of Residential RN Orientation Training as provided by local Department of Mental Health (DMH) Regional Offices and ongoing additional training that affects Residential RN program as required by DMH. Completes Abnormal Involuntary Movement Scale (AIMS) every 3 to 6 months (or more often if needed) for clients at risk of developing tardive dyskinesia (TD).
- If assigned, attends Level 1 Med Aide Instructor's class as provided by the Department of Health and Senior Services and provides Level 1 Med Aide training according to contractual requirements to employees as requested by the Regional Director.
- If assigned, completes Health Risk Screening Tool (HRST) duties including: completing HRST training through DMH, initial evaluation and completion of Health Risk Screening Tool for each residential client, maintain Electronic Medical Record in DMH database system for all residential clients, attend Individual Support Plan meetings for residential clients, attend transition and discharge meetings from hospitals, rehabilitation facilities, nursing homes, etc.
- Assists Regional Director (RD) in responding to HIPS (Health Identification and Planning System) Reviews, Mortality Reviews and other Nursing Reviews by the Regional Office in a timely manner that meets contractual guidelines.
