- This position will have responsibility for overseeing the Breast Cancer Program at our Community Hematology & Medical Oncology practices.
- While clinic responsibilities most likely will be focused at the Good Samaritan and Meridian Park locations, this Breast Cancer Specialist will be responsible for establishing and deploying consistent clinical standards across the community locations (in total five sites).
- The Breast Cancer Specialist collaborates with the Breast Program at OHSU’s main campus to ensure consistent clinical standards and to work to deploy clinical trials in our community sites.
- While the Breast specialist has a specific focus, as a community hematologist oncologist the physicians are considered generalists and may see other patient types.
- Key ResponsibilitiesSupport of the mission, goals and objectives of OHSU, The Knight Cancer Institute, The Division of Hematology and Medical Oncology which includes the Community Hematology Oncology (CHO) Section and the School of Medicine.
