- The Community Engagement Facilitator oversees the recruitment, organization, and leads the CEAC and YAC members by facilitating meetings, events, and training to work collaboratively to support MSFRC and NMFRC. Additionally, the Community Engagement Facilitator takes part in facilitating the Personal Empowerment Program in the Family Resource Centers to provide survivors of domestic violence with the education and empowerment to decrease and/or prevent abuse in intimate relationships.
- Oversee community events, coordinate an annual needs assessment, volunteer recruitment (including residents, agencies, and local businesses in the community) and training, problem solving, and developing and implementing an FRC action plan.
- Perform administrative duties including, but not limited to creating informational letters, forms, and flyers related to programs, maintains and updates CEAC and YAC individual profile files, performs front office coverage, including answering phones and welcoming visitors and clients.
- Support the development of prevention and education promotional strategies for a variety of outreach and engagement events, including:Domestic Violence Awareness Month,Teen Dating Violence Awareness Month,Child Abuse Awareness,Blue Ribbon month,Elder Abuse Awareness, and other local and nationally recognized campaigns.
- QualificationsOption One (1): An associate degree or sixty (60) college units in human services or related field from an accredited college/university; One (1) year of leadership/supervisory experience, Experience providing direct services with community members and/or youth populations.
