- From ultra-precision machining and additive manufacturing to the development and production of complex optical components and sophisticated electronic systems, Lockheed Martin Missiles and Fire Control (MFC) utilizes the latest capabilities in manufacturing to produce some of the world's most advanced weapon and sensor technology.
- Employee will be required to work multiple shifts and schedules per the UAW Collective Bargaining Agreement.
- Must be able to read and interpret mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic diagrams, schematics, drawings, performance specifications, and operating requirements of industrial manufacturing equipment to include CNC multi-purpose mechanical and/or electromechanical control systems.
- Prior experience with machine maintenance such as: operating CNC machines through cycles to check mechanical portion of electronic and/or electromechanical systems, detecting variations from specifications, analyzing results of tests to locate and determine the cause of the malfunction, modifying and adjusting settings to related equipment in order to properly align mechanical systems, and repairing faulty components.
- This position is 2nd shift (2:30 pm to 12:00 am Monday through Thursday, 2:30 pm to 11:00 pm on Friday with every other Friday off) but you must be able to work 1st, 2nd, or 3rd shifts in accordance to the collective bargaining agreement.
