- JOB TITLE: CNC Machinist/Programmer II DEPARTMENT: Machine ShopREPORTS TO: Machine Shop Team LeaderSUPERVISES: NoneFLSA STATUS: Non-Exempt JOB SUMMARYParticipates in the development, implementation, and evaluation of machined components to support the company objectives and strategies and meet or exceed internal and regulatory Quality Standards.
- DUTIES / RESPONSIBILITIES:CNC Programmer - Responsible for providing CNC program for machined components to support Manufacturing and Quality.
- Extrusion and Reheat Stretch Blow Mold Design and Build - Responsible for collaborating with Engineering staff to ensure that molds are optimal for running production efficiently; also responsible for providing Tooling expertise in general to Engineering and Molding operations to achieve highly efficient performance.
- Analyzes specifications or mold/tool requirements, lays out fabrication processes and creates and repairs molds, cutting tools, jigs, fixtures, gauges, and machinists' hand tools.
- Critique mold designs for Design of Manufacturability and optimum molding performance and maintenanceTroubleshoot processing problems manufacturing has for quality issues including dimensional issues, flash, short shots, burn areas, flow marks & bubbles, etc., develop root cause analysis, determine countermeasures, and document method of corrective action.
