In this role, you will be involved in the machining or processing of metal and non-metallic parts by operating CNC Milling Machines. Key Responsibilities: <ul><li>Set up and operate CNC Lathe machines to perform tasks such as turning, drilling, bar feeder, and live tooling.</li><li>Optimize set-up times, maximize machine utilization</li><li>Ability to run CNC vertical mills/robo drills</li><li>Understand specifications of the tasks by reading blueprints, route instructions</li><li>Experience in Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T)</li><li>Troubleshoot programs and make adjustments when needed</li><li>Setup CNC lathe machines to complete full cycles to produce a high and low volumeof parts, improve productivity, maintain offsets, and inspect parts with a high degree of precision</li><li>Follow the in-process part inspection process, and notify the Supervisor/Lead on the occurrence of non-conformance.</li><li>Communicate with superintendents, managers, production control, and quality personnel for assignments, and resolve quality issues.</li><li>Work safely and wear all required PPE for the duration of the shift.</li><li>Document all issues written to ensure a smooth transition between shifts</li><li>Check and perform preventive maintenance daily</li><li>Schedule:3rd Shift, Sunday - Thursday, 10:00 PM - 6:00 AM</li></ul> What are we looking for? Key Competencies: <ul><li>Knowledge of all required measuring equipment which includes calipers, gauges</li><li>Proficient math skills</li><li>Ability to document machining procedures </li><li>Knowledge of metals, part-holding fixtures, and lathe/mill tooling</li><li>Experience in Okuma, Mazak, and Mori lathe machines preferred</li><li>Simple oral communication skills; ability to read and comprehend instructions written in English and complete simple logs and reports in English</li><li>Physically able to handle heavy items, including lifting, pushing, pulling, and positioning components</li><li>Work scheduled hours and comply with the company's timekeeping policy and all other company policies</li><li>Ability to work in a non-climate-controlled shop environment</li><li>Consistently stand for an entire shift</li><li>Strong knowledge of machining practices and materials is a must, as is general mechanical knowledge</li><li>Willingness to be trained with a desire to learn</li><li>Ability to work in a team setting</li><li>Great work ethic, reliable, positive attitude</li></ul> To perform this job successfully, you must be able to report daily to the company's Danielsville, PA branch to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
