As a CNC Machinist you will produce very complex machined parts by setting up and operating a CNC Mill or Lathe Machines. We currently operate state-of-the-art: <ul> <li>Multi-axis Swiss turning</li> <li>3-, 4-, & 5-axis milling</li> <li>2-, 3-, 4-, & 5-axis turning</li> </ul> Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. <ul> <li>Read blueprint or job order for product specifications such as dimensions and tolerances, and tooling instructions such as fixtures, feed rates, cutting speeds, and depth of cut.</li> <li>Select, positions, and secure work piece (chuck, collet, or vise). Change tools, adjust offsets and tool comps to maintain required part quality.</li> <li>Inspect products during the machining operation to determine if parts meet print specifications. </li> <li>Observe operation of machine and verify conformance of machined workpiece to specifications.</li> <li>Maintain equipment by completing basic preventive maintenance requirements and reporting need for machine repairs.</li> <li>Understand and comply with company policy safety guidelines, quality systems requirements and housekeeping standards.</li> </ul> Qualifications To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
