Responsibilities:
The Clinical Supervisor supports administrative responsibility for the department service functions and works collaboratively with the unit Director and/or Manager. In the absence of the unit Director and/or Manager, the Clinical Supervisor may assume the administrative scope of the unit assigned. <ul><li>Develops and implements departmental plans, including performance improvement activities and compliance with current federal and/or state regulations.</li><li>Prepares, conducts and/or oversees department(s) orientation and training of personnel.</li><li>Communicates with staff, physicians, and administration both written and verbally.</li><li>Responsible and accountable for the quality of staff and functions during their shift.</li><li>Assists the Department Director in the daily operation of the unit, directing, supervising, and evaluating personnel, ensuring the proper use of time, equipment, and staff.</li><li>Ensure the efficient functions of the department.</li><li>Performs direct patient care, only as needed, within the scope practice.</li><li>Continually assess care and direct staff to make immediate changes in the plan of care.</li></ul>Availabilty for: Telemetry and Behavioral Health<ul><li>Full-Time/Part-Time Days or Nights</li></ul>

Qualifications:
EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, TRAINING 1. Current and valid state RN License 2. Current BLS (AHA) upon hire and maintain current. 3. Current ACLS (AHA) preferred. 4. Bachelor Degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred. RN-C within 2 years of hire preferred. 5. PALS within 30 days of hire for units that admit pediatric patients. Paradise Valley Hospital offers competitive compensation and a comprehensive benefits package that provides employees the flexibility to tailor benefits according to their individual needs. A reasonable compensation estimate for this role, which includes estimated wages, benefits, and other forms of compensation, is $44.00 to 69.94.
