- The Department of Anesthesiology, Perioperative, and Pain Medicine is seeking a Clinical Research Coordinator Associate (Fixed-term 2 years) to perform duties related to the coordination of clinical studies.
- Qualified candidates will coordinate moderately complex aspects of one or more clinical studies working under close direction of the principal investigator and/or study coordinator/supervisor.
- Work duties will include interfacing with the clinicians in the Stanford Pain Management center and the clinic staff to coordinate scheduling of quantitative sensory testing as well neuroimaging, and to follow participants from recruitment, enrollment, consent, all the way to study close-out.
- In addition, the CRCA will provide cross coverage for another perioperative multicenter clinical trial investigating the effects of motivational interviewing and tizanidine to reduce the incidence of long-term opioid use after spine surgery.
