- CCI Health Services (CCI) works with the Maryland Department of Health to provide comprehensive health assessments, appropriate follow-up care and referrals to newly arrived refugees, asylees, those with special immigrant visas (SIVs), victims of trafficking, and humanitarian parolees resettling in Montgomery and Prince George’s Counties.
- The RHA Registered Nurse (RN), under the direction of the Director of Nursing, is a member of the CCI nursing team, and is responsible for assisting and supporting the RHA program and the CCI clinical team in providing high quality, direct patient care assessments, coordination, and education.
- As a member of the health center’s integrated care team, the Refugee Health Assessment Nurse fulfills the following
- Provides quality customer service and communicates in a HIPAA compliant, culturally sensitive, and trauma-informed manner.
- Experience with documenting in an Electronic Medical Record (EMR) – specific knowledge of eClinicalWorks is a plus.
