- The Clinical Laboratory Technologist I is responsible for the analysis of laboratory specimens and subsequent result reporting according to laboratory protocol and procedures.
- The medical laboratory technologist works in collaboration with laboratory staff, pathologist, director, and manager team to provide high quality clinical laboratory services.
- Medical technologist is responsible for technical and non-technical responsibilities includes performing laboratory testing procedure on state of the art instruments in Hematology, Hemostasis, Blood Bank, Chemistry, Urinalysis, Point of Care Testing, Microbiology and Specimens processing.
- Qualified as a Clinical Laboratory Technologist in accordance with New York State Department of Health regulations, required
- Licensure by NYS SED as a Clinical Laboratory Technologist required, or licensure-eligible with a limited permit or limited license as a Clinical Laboratory Technologist, required Limited Permit is granted to individuals that meet the educational requirements for licensure except for the licensing examination which must be taken within one year from the issuance of a limited permit.
