- Marist College Office of Counseling Services is seeking a full-time clinical counselor with demonstrated passion, commitment, and expertise in working with students from marginalized communities including Black/African American, Latinx/Latine, Undocumented, Indigenous/First Nations, Asian American/Pacific Islander, Multi-racial, and other students of color.
- This 10-month position involves the provision of a range of services to a diverse student population, including intakes; individual counseling; group counseling; consultations; crisis intervention; on-call rotation; and innovative outreach programming.
- Must be licensed or license-eligible in New York State, e.g. Licensed Psychologist, LCSW, or LMHC. Candidates seeking supervised post-doctoral experience are also welcome to apply.
- Strong generalist skills with specialization and/or expertise in interpersonal psychotherapy, DBT, ACT, and/or other evidence-based practices.
