- The Department of Health and Human Performance serves approximately 2,300 undergraduate and graduate students seeking degrees in athletic training, exercise and sport science, public health, and recreation.
- Athletic training (AT) faculty also teach undergraduate courses in the pre-rehabilitation sciences ( PRS ) concentration of the Bachelor in Exercise and Sports Science degree.
- Our program’s long history of athletic training education includes didactic and clinical education at both the undergraduate and graduate levels, and placement of graduates in athletic training careers at colleges and universities, high schools, professional sports, industry, and sports medicine clinics throughout the United States.
- Posses a current Certified Athletic Trainer ( ATC ) certification, or equivalent state license, for a minimum of five years, to demonstrate current and contemporary competence.
