- To provide assistance to the Classification and Compensation Manager in the day-to-day activities of the Department of Human Resources, Classification and Compensation Division; to conduct job analysis audits and research to develop and revise job classifications and specifications, conducts salary surveys and pay equity studies for the City of Little Rock. - These knowledge, skills, and abilities are usually, although not always, acquired through completion of a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Human Resources Administration, or Public Administration, or a related area; and two (2) years of technical or professional-level experience performing job analysis studies and development of job classification job descriptions/specifications, or a related area,
- two (2) years of compensation experience and two (2) years of demonstrated advanced-level proficiency in Microsoft excel and word experience.
- This classification is eligible for career ladder progression to a Classification and Compensation Analyst II after an assessment by the Classification Manager and Chief People Officer of the position incumbent skills, knowledge, and abilities to achieve the level necessary for advancement to the next level.
