- The child psychologist will perform psychological testing and neuro-psychological testing on children ages 0-18 who undergo evaluation through the developmental pediatrics program (MDAC) in the Children's Health Center at San Francisco General Hospital as part of a multi-disciplinary developmental assessment team.
- Preferably the clinician has experience with a number of treatment methods, such as behavior modification, Applied Behavioral Analysis, Floortime model, stress reduction therapy and/or counseling/play therapy.
- The UCSF Department of Pediatrics is committed to excellence in research, education and the clinical care of infants, children and young adults.
- The committed clinical care provided by our physicians is enhanced through process improvement initiatives and contributions to community health, including, but not limited to, increasing access to community resources, immigrant and refugee care, lifestyle intervention for obese adolescents, expansion of quality language services, universal screening for smoking cessation, and improving behavioral health support for our diverse communities.
- The inpatient units include the 8-bed pediatric inpatient unit and the 12-bed Infant Care Center.
