- The University of Florida Department of Pediatrics is seeking a Chief of Pediatric Allergy, Immunology, and Rheumatology.
- This is a faculty position in the non-tenure or tenure track with the rank of Associate/Full Professor.
- The Division Chief will be responsible for program development in all areas of Allergy, Immunology and Rheumatology, in addition to patient care in the inpatient and outpatient settings, teaching of pediatric fellows, residents, and medical students, as well as conducting research and supervising the division’s increasing large research program that includes investigator-initiated, registry and pharma funded investigations.
- We are extremely active in the Childhood Arthritis and Rheumatology Research Alliance (CARRA) and its sub studies and have a full-time clinical research coordinator and access to other research support through the pediatrics department.
- We provide training in musculoskeletal ultrasound and have collaborative research and clinical relationships with Adult Rheumatology, Orthopedics, and PMR, including their state-of-the-art gait analysis laboratory.
