- Provides general direction and maintains control of the Consumer Loan, Indirect, Real Estate and Member Assistance Departments and of the credit union wide lending and collection efforts in general to maintain a level of member service consistent with the goals and objectives of the credit union.
- Coordinates, monitors, and controls the centralized consumer, real estate loan administration, ancillary loan products and servicing systems.
- Approves or denies credit requests that exceed the lending authority of the loan officer handling the loan application in the absence of the Vice President of Consumer Loans.
- Oversees the activities of the lending area of the credit union, including real estate, consumer lending and the collection functions through the direct supervision of Director of Indirect Lending, AVP of Member Assistance, Vice President of Real Estate and Vice President of Consumer Loans.
- Oversees the training and development of loan underwriters’ credit union wide, with assistance from the Chief Operating Officer, or their designee.
