- POSITION SUMMARY/PURPOSE: The Chief Financial Officer/Cashier of South Ottumwa Savings Bank is a vital member of the management team and is responsible for planning, monitoring and optimizing financial performance of the bank, serving as a key advisor to the President, CEO and Board of Directors.
- RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES: This is a salary exempt from overtime position based on a normal 40 hour work week Monday through Friday with some scheduled Saturday mornings.
- Supervises the development and implementation of the Bank's financial plans and coordinates Management and Board of Director reporting of the financial status of the Bank. IT Conversion Coordinator for data processing conversions and/or Bank acquisitions.
- Oversees the accounting, operations, IT and compliance/BSA and fraud oversight functions of the Bank. Designs, develops, modifies and implements bank wide systems and activities resulting in increased efficiencies and economic operations.
- EEOC/Vet/Disabled KEY REQUIREMENTS AND SKILLS To perform this job successfully, an individual must have a Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance or a closely related field, with 5+ years banking or related experience and 10+ years accounting or finance experience.
