- Overview Certified Nursing Assistant (CNPRN) - Hospice IPU provides a central role in the care of the patient and works to enhance quality of life, in addition to assisting with all activities of daily living.
- The IPU CNA works under the direction of the Registered Nurse (RN) to provide care and support to the patients and their families in the acute care setting.
- Responsibilities Under the direct supervision of a Registered Nurse, the IPU CNA provides a central role on the hospice and palliative care teams.
- Providing personal care for the patient and assisting with activities of daily living, the IPU CNA functions in a supportive role and functions as an extension of professional services while following written instructions under appropriate supervision, and specialized hospice training.
- Qualifications Experience RequirementsMust have previous and recent experience as a Nursing Assistant, preferably in a hospice, assisted living or hospital setting.
