- The CNA Instructor will provide students with the skills necessary to meet the physical, physiological, and psychological needs of a patient.
- The objective of the CNA instructor is to help students to build knowledge and clinical skills aimed at passing the NJ State Licensing Exam and being emotionally prepared to work in a facility.
- The Certified Nurses Aid course is comprised of 90 hours: 50 instructional hours, and 40 clinical laboratory hours.
- Teach CNA training program using the course curriculum in conjunction with training on the required skills assessment in the clinical lab setting.
- Registered professional nurse currently licensed by the NJ State Board of Nursing Must have successfully completed a training workshop offered by the NJ State Department of Health for Instructors/Evaluators becoming DOH Certified Nurse Aide Instructor.
