- The CEQA/Coastal Zone Planner position will provide environmental planning expertise to lead or assist in obtaining local and state permits for projects related to the energy, telecommunications, water, or mining industries.
- Complete tasks associated with CEQA, California Coastal Act, and other local, state, and federal regulations.
- Coordinates with local, state, and federal resource and regulatory agencies, including the California Coastal Commission (CCC) and local coastal programs administered by various cities and counties, to determine permitting and regulatory requirements for projects.
- Advise clients on how to implement comply with the requirement of the local coastal program (LCP) planning and coastal development permit (CDP)
- Interpreting aerial photographs and mapped information
