- Position SummaryThe Bereavement Coordinator manages bereavement services throughout the hospital, utilizing a variety of mechanisms including clinical services to families, education of staff and public about end- of-life and bereavement issues, development and implementation of bereavement services/programming/special events, coordination and oversight of the bereavement follow-up program, quality assurance and program evaluation, and oversight of the bereavement program budget.
- Education:*Bachelor's level training in qualified field (chaplain, social worker, RN, counselor, child life specialist, music therapist, or equivalent); Master's preferred.
