- Position description School of Medicine Department of Radiological SciencesPosition: Health Sciences Clinical Instructor – Cardiovascular & Thoracic Imaging Fellowship We are currently accepting applications for cardiothoracic imaging fellowship position in the Department of Radiological Sciences at the University of California, Irvine, for the academic year -.
- This fellowship provides comprehensive training in cardiothoracic imaging using radiography, CT, CTA, MRI, and MRA. The fellow has the opportunity to learn advanced cardiovascular imaging, coronary CTA, pulmonary vein mapping, TAVR and Watchman device planning CTA and “triple rule out”.
- All aspects of thoracic imaging are also covered, including oncologic imaging as well as HRCT. The interested fellow will also have the opportunity to perform interventional procedures, including lung or mediastinal biopsy, chest tube placement, or tumor ablation under the supervision of the interventional radiology division.
- The department is equipped with state of the art clinical CT and MRI scanners.
