- Under the direction of the Public Works Operation Director, the Project Manager will manage capital improvement, small works, and maintenance projects requiring cost tracking and development, contract management, scheduling,utility coordination, grant fund management, inspection, and construction management.
- Establish and maintain cooperative working relationships with co-workers, utilities, consultant staff, funding partners, WSDOT, utilities, contractors, business owners, and citizens.
- Coordinates right of way agreements with property owners during design and construction of capital projects.
- Monitors compliance with construction standards and other requirements such as those for performance bonding, prevailing wage, materials testing and submittals, payments, inspections, and permits.
- Methods and techniques of plan and specifications review and field inspection.
