- Typical Duties/Job Duties Provides timely and sound advice and guidance to potential and current small business owners in such areas as business startup, business plans, loan proposals, cash flow management, financing, financial analysis, marketing, market analysis, bookkeeping, operations audits, human resources, and government contracting.
- Advising services are provided through one-on-one counseling, email, virtual sessions as well as client research conducted on behalf of the business owner.
- Meets or exceeds assigned client impact goals associated with the direct economic impact of the SBDC advising services through various data collection efforts; including, client meetings and follow up, client growth assessments, and success stories narratives to be completed in accordance with the program requirements.
- Participates in the regional advisor certification program and completes certification requirements in accordance with SBA/SBDC requirements.
- Develops and serves as a trainer/facilitator for workshops and seminars offered by the SBDC. Presents subject matter though lectures, audio visual presentations, both in person and through virtual webinars.
