Connect with your Talent Advisor for additional specifics.<h3>Responsibilities </h3>Lead daily operations of surgical suites in support of surgical procedures.<ul><li>Lead and coordinate shift operations including schedules and resources.</li><li>Prepare surgical operating suite with sterile and non-sterile instruments and supplies.</li><li>Assist surgeons during surgery, providing required and requested instruments and supplies to surgeon and assisting with hemostasis.</li><li>Assist with preparing, transporting, positioning and draping patients.</li><li>Maintain instruments in an organized manner and monitor and track instruments counts throughout procedures.</li><li>Perform staff orientation, training, and coaching. Provide input to staff performance evaluations.</li></ul><h3>Requirements </h3>Licensure / Certification / Registration:<ul><li>BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.</li><li>One or more of the following required:<ul><li>Licensed Registered Nurse credentialed from the Tennessee Board of Nursing or current home statelicense for multi-state license recognition Compact State obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.</li><li>Certified First Surgical Assistant obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.Associates who hired/transferred before 04/30/2018 are not required to hold certification.
