- Under the supervision and direction of a licensed therapist (licensed clinical social worker or licensed professional counselor) , the Behavioral Health Therapist is responsible for the provision of social work/counseling services to patients receiving care in the inpatient and outpatient setting.
- Assesses the social, psychological, cultural, environmental, and financial situation, as well as disposition needs, for each assigned patient.
- Master's Level Degree in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work or related field.
- For Masters in Counseling, eligibility to be registered with the State as a resident in counseling is preferred.
- Preference for certification in Addiction, Screening Brief Intervention and Referral to Treatment (SBIRT), Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Trauma, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) etc.
