- Watts Healthcare Corporation is deemed by the Bureau of Primary Health Care of the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services to be a federal employee for purposes of medical malpractice claims and, as such, qualified for protection under the Federal Tort Claims Act.
- The Behavioral Health Therapist, under the general supervision of the Clinical Supervisor of Behavioral Health, is responsible for providing care to patients in alignment with the chronic disease management model, and co-occurring services for adults, children, families and groups.
- The Behavioral Therapist will also collaborate with managers and care providers from multiple disciplines/departments to manage and improve health outcomes and the patient experience of care for Watts Healthcare Corporation’s (WHCC) at-risk patient populations, as defined by each patient’s risk profile and other social determinants of health, across a range from neonatal care to end of life care.
- Supervised hours of experience are provided by a Licensed Clinical Social Worker or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist to meet the pre-licensing accrual hours necessary for licensure in the Associate’s related field under jurisdiction of the Board of Behavioral Sciences.
- This classification includes registered and degreed, but not yet licensed ACSW’s or AMFT’s.
