- Open to RNs, Clinical Counselors, and Social Workers POSITION SUMMARY: The Behavioral Health Assessor provides in-person risk assessment and crisis intervention, initial contact with referral sources and potential patients, coordinates the referral and intake process, determines the appropriate level of care, facilitates the admission process, and maintains communication with referral sources, families, patients, and unit staff.
- EducationRegistered Nurse Master’s Degree in Counseling or Social Work preferred Licensed and/or Credentialed Counselor LCSW/CSW/LPCC/LPCAInpatient psychiatric experience preferred.
- Licensure/CertificationLicensure to practice clinical discipline in the appropriate state, as applicable, required in Social Worker, Marriage and Family Therapist, Mental Health Counselor, and/or Certification Addiction Professional.
- Roles and ResponsibilitiesCompletes comprehensive mental health and substance use assessments.
