- Being a Respite Companion or Behavior Support Companion is more than just a job, as you will develop a personal relationship with the individuals and families you work with.
- Our Respite Companions provide highly trained non-medical direct services/compassionate home companions to children with developmental disabilities and other special needs.
- As a Respite or Behavior Support Companion, you will provide primary caregivers the opportunity to enjoy breaks from their daily caregiving responsibilities.
- The Respite Companion will serve as the primary support staff and will possess the necessary skills to deal effectively with the day-to-day challenges of providing respite services to clients, including the demonstrated ability to increase specified client skills.
