- Under the direction of the licensed Doctors of Audiology, Practice Manager, and Clinical Manager and after appropriate training and demonstration of competency, performs duties that are prescribed, directed, and supervised by a certified and/or licensed audiologist.
- Audiology Assistants are regulated by state regulations and fall under the responsibility of the supervising audiologist who determines the applicable requirements for the assistant in the specific work setting.
- The role of the Audiology Assistant is to be supportive of the audiologist by performing routine tasks and clinical duties so that the audiologist is available for the more complex evaluative, diagnostic, management, and treatment required by the level of education and training of a licensed audiologist.
- maintaining NOAH database for management of hearing aid patients
- Certifications: American Speech Language Hearing Association (ASHA) Certified Audiology Assistant (C-AA).
