- As a litigation associate, you will work closely with partners and senior associates on serious personal injury defense lawsuits and complex commercial litigation matters; conduct legal research, draft pleadings and motions, draft discovery requests and responses, review documents and oversee their production, depose (and sometimes prepare others to depose) fact and expert witnesses, participate in strategy sessions, prepare cases for trial, and actively participate in trial.
- Responsibilities:Assist with all stages of litigation, including pleadings, motions, discovery, and trials.
- Conduct legal research and draft memoranda and briefs on a variety of legal issues.
- Work collaboratively with partners and senior associates to develop and implement litigation strategies.
- Demonstrate discipline and attention to detail in all aspects of work, including time management, organization, and document review.
