- SAIC is looking for an Attitude Controls Systems and Propulsion Engineer that possesses technical expertise in spacecraft Attitude Control Systems (ACS) and propulsion subsystems.
- Member will be an integral participant in ACS and propulsion subsystem architecture, requirements development and verification, and unit designs.
- Key ACS areas of focus include control theory, reaction wheel/control moment gyro, star sensor/tracker, fiber optic/resonator rate sensing gyro, sun sensor, earth sensor, magnetic torque rod, GPS receiver, and control algorithm design, development, integration, and test.
- Also experienced in the design & integration of satellite buses and knowledgeable of launch & flight operations of space vehicles.
- Reviews and coordinates on changes to specifications, ICDs, and system level requirements documentation for ACS and propulsion subsystems
