Job DescriptionATHLETIC TRAINERReports To: Associate Athletic Director/ Director Athletic Training Job Status: 12-month, Full-Time, Exempt,Compensation Information: Salary range $66,000 - $72,800 (annually), commensurate with experience. This position is eligible for benefits (medical, dental, vision), generous PTO and holiday schedule, 401(k) savings plan with school match, higher education tuition reimbursement, and 50 % tuition remission for employee's children attending JSerra. Afternoon and evening hours are required.Description: The Athletic Trainer assumes the responsibility and obligation of maintaining an athletic training program in all high school sports programs to ensure the health and safety of all students, coaches and spectators. An athletic trainer is a certified and licensed health care professional who practices in the field of sports medicine and prevents injury or re-injury of student athletes by developing conditioning, flexibility, and rehabilitative programs. Daily duties include applying bracing or administering therapeutic treatments as well as providing emergency first aid to injured or ill student athletes or staff.
