- Description: The Athletic Trainer assumes the responsibility and obligation of maintaining an athletic training program in all high school sports programs to ensure the health and safety of all students, coaches and spectators.
- An athletic trainer is a certified and licensed health care professional who practices in the field of sports medicine and prevents injury or re-injury of student athletes by developing conditioning, flexibility, and rehabilitative programs.
- Must exhibit a deep appreciation for the Catholic faith and a commitment to the teachings of the Catholic Church
- Athletic Trainer provides medical coverage at required practices and games as assigned including travel for playoffs or field trips if deemed necessaryo Adhere to monthly calendar developed by Head Athletic Trainero Management and care for all injuries on JSerra's athletic campuso Documentation and follow-up for all injuries
- Maintains the athletic training clinico Adhere and enforce all posted athletic training ruleso Maintain accurate records of injuries/treatments/rehabo Communicate with physicians and other medical specialists, athletes and their parents, coaches, and Athletic Director to provide the best possible injury outcomes.
