- Definition of Classification:The Athletic Facilities Supervisor assesses each facility, plans, and coordinates the maintenance and turf management needs for all outdoor athletic venues, including the aquatic center.
- Initiates an ongoing maintenance, renovation, and turf management plan, coordinates and administers maintenance, and evaluates outcomes for all outdoor athletic venues.
- Works with athletics facilities maintenance staff to paint and mark all fields as per NCAA rules of all competitions; provides set-up and take down of facilities for contests and events, including field equipment, goal posts, track & field pits and cages, dugouts, bench areas, press box, etc.
- In conjunction with the Director of Athletics, facilitates the scheduling of Event Services requesting use of athletic facilities; assists the members of the Event Services staff as needed and facilitates communication between groups scheduling programs and the Department of Intercollegiate Athletics.
- This may include, but not be limited to, trimming of trees, shrubs, and hedges as well as planting, pruning, spraying, fertilizing, and weeding of planter boxes in all athletic venues.
