- General Purpose: Supports functions in the registrar's office with primary emphasis on all aspects of the management of the museum's permanent art collection, including collections and media record management, collections storage, the processing of new acquisitions and management of object moves, development of policy and procedures and the administration of the collections management system (TMS).
- Responsible for the overall management and support of the collections database, facilitate integrations, upgrades and serves as point of contact for The Gallery Systems, including development and maintenance of data entry standards; management of database security and user access levels; providing training and support for users; generating checklists and creating reports.
- Manages all logistics for incoming acquisitions including shipping, prepares paperwork including deeds of gift/purchase agreements, process invoices, assigns accession numbers, creates new object and associated records in TMS. Prepares documents for promised and partial gifts and bequests.
- Serves on the working group Community of Practice for Knowledge Management Integration.
- Undergraduate degree in art history, museum studies, or equivalent work experience in related field
