- Reporting directly to the Chief Legal and Administrative Officer, you will manage a wide range of global employment law issues, from compliance and policy development to dispute resolution and litigation.
- Advice and Counsel: Provide expert legal advice and counsel to HR professionals, management, and other stakeholders on complex employment law issues, including hiring practices, employee relations, performance management, accommodations, leaves of absence, wage and hour compliance, and terminations.
- Litigation Management: Manage employment-related litigation and pre-litigation matters globally, including responding to demand letters and negotiating settlements, oversight of outside counsel, reviewing pleadings, responding to discovery, case strategy, and representing the company in employment-related administrative proceedings, arbitrations, and court hearings.
- Training and Education: Develop and conduct training programs for managers and employees on employment law compliance and best practices in partnership with our Talent Development team.
- Policy Advocacy: Stay abreast of legislative and regulatory developments affecting employment law.
