- Primary responsibilities include: supervision of 5 FTE Assistant Directors, partnering with the Director of University Housing to create and lead a vision for student engagement, residential curriculum & partnerships, student behavior, student support, and diversity, equity, inclusion, & social justice.
- In addition, experience working with diverse individuals such as non-traditional aged, religiously diverse, gender, international, people with disabilities, gay, lesbian, bisexual and transgender, and persons of color is essential to be effective in the Associate Director position.
- Develop relationships with staff in various university offices, including but not limited to Cultural Resource Centers, Police Department, CSU Health Network, Student Resolution Center, Student Case Management, Collaborative for Student Achievement, TiLT, etc.
