- The Department of Petroleum Engineering at the University of Alaska Fairbanks invites applications for a tenure-track, Assistant Professor position.
- The successful candidate will be expected to teach undergraduate and graduate courses, supervise graduate students, build an independent research program and perform public, university and professional service.
- The required area of expertise is production and reservoir engineering, and candidates with specializations in fields such as carbon capture utilization and storage (CCUS); geothermal production systems; and low emission oil & gas production systems will be particularly preferred.
- Well logging; artificial lift and oil & gas production systems; nodal analysis; well test analysis; carbon capture utilization and storage (CCUS); geothermal production systems; low emission resource recovery.
- An earned Ph. D. in Petroleum Engineering or closely related engineering discipline is required.
