- The candidates will have an identified program of research that aligns with multimedia journalism, convergence media, broadcast journalism, or a related field.
- Besides teaching a broad range of courses in communications, the successful candidate must demonstrate ability in teaching undergraduate courses in multimedia journalism, including reporting and writing for print, digital, broadcast, and emerging platforms; copy editing; layout/design; multiplatform storytelling; broadcast journalism; and video productions.
